On the 31st of May, I was back at the Black Heart in Camden ready to see Enquire Within on stage to celebrate the release of their new album "Elysium"!
The venue is already filled up with people ready to hear the new songs live, the air is electric.
Opening act (Halberd) also opened the moshpit and I was pleased to see people falling and being helped back up on their feet again, remember kids, it's all fun and games but no one should get hurt at concerts!
Then we had Detoxen, second band to warm up the audience, good to see they already have some passionate fans!
And finally Enquire Within, The singer was pouring his lungs in Final Seal. The engagement with the audience is amazing, it feels almost like a big family reunion and the songs are headbanging!
I ended up being pushed a couple of time from people in the moshpit but hey, this is the fun of it right?
Between songs there were little chats, jokes between band members and audience and I personally love this about shows in smaller venues.
We got to hear to songs like Hunter and Remorse, and I was happy to find myself jumping to Prison which turned out to be my favourite song!
We also had a surprise guest at the end of the show Howard (H) from Acid Reign who performed the last song of the the set with the band making the stage busier and lowder!
It's definitely an amazing show, welcoming community and the band is great, with their music and their personalities!
