This is the perfect example of how to start an EP. It's very theatrical, if you close your eyes, you can almost imagine the start of the film where the lights go down and the screen comes on. All is quiet with a bit of mood music and then BOOM!!!!!! In your face screaming, loud fast music that makes you jump up and wish you were in a mosh pit jumping around like a possessed person.
Love the guitar solo on this one, lots of sliding and high pitched notes. The beginning is slightly different with some cool guitar effects that turn heavy just before the vocals come in.
This song is my favourite on the EP, so gritty and heavy. I was headbanging straight away and was moving from the first note. I feel like this song would be amazing live, the face melting guitars and the screaming would give the audience some crazy energy to really throw themselves around. Was not expecting what sounds like a choir in the middle of the song lol. I love the effect it gave the song though, it fitted in so perfectly to lift the song up to another level. And omg the guitar solo, I could feel like face melting straight away.
Starts off a lot different to the other songs, you sort of sit there and wonder what is going to happen, then the music and vocals kick off. My favourite part of this song is the Heys which lead into the guitar solo. I can see a venue full of people raising their devils horns into the air with each hey and then rocking out to the solo. There is more choir like singing as well in this one, love that!! Might sound weird but I got a bit of a Lordi vibe in parts of this song, which I also love lol.
Final song of the EP and it did not disappoint. Like the other songs on the EP, it is heavy and full of amazing energy with a fast guitar solo to keep you wanting more.
Paradis is definitely a band to keep a eye on because this EP is going to take them places.
