Today was the best day of Call Of The Wild for me.

King Voodoo
Such a good start to the day seeing these guys as they have an awesome energy that seemed to be charging the crowd. They are very guitar heavy but it gives them this brilliant gritty sort of sound. I love the singer, he has quite a hypnotic sound that pulls you in and makes you want to hear more. I'm expecting big things from these guys in the future.
One thing I have to say is someone look at the bass player's family tree because he looks like the long lost son of Vince Neil haha. He looked AMAZING!! Every part the rock star.

Spyder Byte
OMG These guys are going to go far. I love everything from the outfits, the dance moves, the hair and most importantly.....the rocking music. They had some really amazing energy and because I was down the front, I was blown away by the roar of the crowd at the end of their set because the tent was packed. I was shocked to find out that these guys are local to me, I couldn't understand how they could be a stone throw from my front door and I've not heard of them. That has definitely now because I'm looking forward to seeing them at Maid Of Stone in July, the Red Lion in Gravesend in September and supporting South Of Salem at the Tunbridge Wells Forum in October.

Sam Millar
Sam was amazing, such a brilliant guitar player. Although I did have trouble not watching the bass player because he was hard not to watch. He was so charismatic and a lovely wiggle on him lol, he is definitely someone who was born to be on the stage.

Confess
Swedish rockers, Confess were brilliant. I didn't know any of their songs but I loved their set. I particularly liked their cover of "What's Love Got To Do With It" by Tina Turner. They have a great stage presents and the crowd absolutely loved them.

Wrath Child
These guys were so good to watch. They had some really banging tunes and the singers custom microphone attachment, which looked like gun, had me guessing for a second what was going on haha. When he was singing into the mic, it looked like he was pointing the gun into his mouth.
This is when I had the best moment of the whole festival....I interviewed Samy Elbanna from Lost Society. I had interviewed him before but that was over Zoom and I hadn't seen him for a while but that lovely man recognised me and gave me a big hug. The interview was so relaxed that it felt more like a chat with a friend, that is what Samy does to you, he just chills you out.

Bad Touch
I badly need to see these guys again because they were outstanding. I loved everything about them, their vibe, their songs, their whole performance. Their sound reminds so much of decent classic rock, real raunchy guitars, banging drums (no pun intended), amazing vocals and killer anthem sounding songs. I need more of these guys in my life!!
I've already looked and they aren't anywhere near me at the moment, but I will be keeping an eye on them to see when a gig near me comes up.

South Of Salem
I haven't listened to much from South Of Salem but what I have heard, I have liked a lot. So I was super excited to see these guys, and they did not disappoint. I loved their set, and not just because they had flames coming out the stage that warmed us all up haha. I was very impressed with them and I can't wait to see them again at Maid Of Stone in July.

Lost Society
There are no words for this set because Lost Soceity were just so frigging amazing!! Amazing isn't even a good enough word, outstanding, brilliant, fanominal, I can't pick the right word. This wasn't the first time I've seen Lost Sosciety live, but in my personal experience, this is the best performance I have ever seen them do. They had this electric energy that went through the crowd from the second they came on stage. I have loved these lads for a while now and I felt incredibiliy proud of the band and so honoured that I was there for their first headlining show at a UK festival because they went above and beyond.
