Growing up, my parents always listened to old-school music from the 80s and 90s, so that's something I make sure I listen to every day when writing as a copywriter! Whenever I need a break from my work screen, I make sure to listen to music, whether it’s Michael Jackson, Backstreet Boys or Whitney Houston.

As someone who is also quite spiritual, I believe music holds vibrations, and the lyrics can affect how you feel or work with your everyday life. I always try to listen to uplifting music that reflects positive messages. My taste in music varies. I can go from listening to 80s music to modern RnB, but we all know the best RnB music was the 2000s!

I hold music deeply in my heart as my uncle, who has now sadly passed away, introduced me to Michael Jackon’s music at the age of five; I remember dancing around the living room with my cousins in Leeds whilst blasting out Michael Jackson’s music, and whenever I listen to his music it reminds me of the good times I had growing up.

Alongside music, I love being in nature, training at the gym and of course, writing; it’s my passion! I could write for days and days if I had to, and I hope one day I can release my own novel.
